heritage of the 70s

in zurich a lot of buildings were constructed during the boom in the 70s. nowadays these buildings are out of date. they either have to be torn down or renovated in order to meet the aesthetic and regulatory standards of today. one these buildings, in a very fashionable and rapidly growing part of zurich, is at the end of its life line. our task was to update the building and adapt it to our modern regulations and the rapidly changing urban environment it lies in. my solution was to add floors and green spaces, while retaining its existing structure.
